L'arte Olive Oil Dip Recipe
This herb and garlic mixture is delicious and so tasty! When topped with olive oil, it turns into a delicious dip for bread. Keep extra L'arte EVOO close by, you can always add more!
Makes about 1/2 cup, Serves 4 - 6
INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:
Finely mince the garlic and capers. Add to a bowl along with the oregano, rosemary, thyme and cheese. Add small bit of salt and pepper. Use the back of a spoon to smash the herbs into the garlic and capers.
Make one or two mounds of the garlic-herb mixture on a rimmed plate. Drizzle the olive oil on top. Serve with cubes of bread. Enjoy!
Helpful Hints:
Although we prefer the herbs fresh this mixture can be made a day or two ahead of time and stored in a container in the fridge, just adding the olive oil when you are ready to actually serve it. We LOVE capers and the flavor it brings to this dip but you can always leave them out if you don't like or have them available. We absolutely recommend fresh herbs but dried ones will do in a pinch, just use 1/4 of the normal amount you would use of fresh ones. Enjoy!
