Spicy Toasted Garbanzo Beans & Pistachios (from bon appetit w/ a L'arte twist)
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Mix cece nero and the following 6 ingredients together in a bowl and then spread out onto a baking pan or rimmed baking sheet.
3. Bake for about 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes or so, until garbanzos are crisp.
4. Mix in the pistachios and thyme and bake for about 12 minutes, until beans and pistachios are crunchy.
5. Serve warm and enjoy!
- 2 cups of cooked cece nero (garbanzo beans) drained
- 1/8 cup L'arte extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon L'arte Spicy Pepper White Balsamic
- 1/2 teaspoon course sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup shelled raw pistachios
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
