White Balsamic Sauteed Apples
INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION:
1. Dip slices in lemon water so that they don't brown, then cut each slice into 3 chunks.
2. Put a good layer of olive oil into a saucepan and fry apples until a little brown on both sides.
3. Add L'arte White Balsamic to the pan and allow to caramelize.
3. Add a little sprinkle of cinnamon on top, Serve.
(For those who like a sweeter dessert, you can always add a tablespoon or two of sugar when you are caramelizing the apples)
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced, then slices cut into 3 chunks (we like to use Granny Smith apples)
- 1-2 tbls of L'arte Olive Oil
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup of L'arte White Balsamic
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
