Limited Edition Conca d'Oro EVOO - 2020 Harvest

We are so excited to introduce you to our very limited bottling of a single olive grove - Conca d'Oro. This 2020 harvested extra virgin olive oil comes from our oldest oliveto (olive grove), Tecognano, located just outside of the medieval hilltop town of Cortona in Tuscany, Italy. The trees in this olive grove are terraced in the old traditional style of stone lined walls and many of the olive trees are over hundreds of years old.

The lush Tuscan hillsides in this area form a golden basin in the mountains known as the "Conca d'Oro", a unique microclimate, where the sun casts its magical golden glow and the olive trees thrive.

The Tecognano oliveto produces some of our best tasting extra virgin olive oil and we wanted to to showcase how amazing it is by bottling a small amount to share with you! Enjoy the stellar 2020 harvest Conca d'Oro in our beautiful hand-painted bottles featuring a gold foil label and a gold hand-dipped wax top. The extra virgin olive oil inside is simply fantastic.

The olives were harvested in late October at the peak of verizon; when the olives are just starting to turn color, are extremely high in polyphenols and full of flavor. We harvest by hand and press our olives daily at a local frantoio (olive mill) which uses modern equipment to extract the high quality extra virgin olive oil. Conca d'Oro oil is unfiltered and will be a cloudy green color as olive particles settle to the bottom. Over time it will slowly turn a more golden color and there will be sediment on the bottom of the bottle.

As with all olive oil, similar to fruit juice, it is best just after pressing and will slowly degrade over time. We suggest using up a bottle within 3 months of opening it.

Try drizzling it on everything from salads, cooked veggies, steaks, bread to even finishing your minestrone soup. Buon appetito!

Conca d'Oro 250ml - $28.99
